Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10, dubbed “10/10”, entered its second half on Sunday, August 31, 2025, following five weeks of non-stop drama from 29 housemates, now remaining 22.

The second half opened with fireworks as Mensan and Ivatar chose chaos during Sunday’s live, eviction-free show, turning Biggie’s house into a verbal boxing ring. But the first half of the season had already given viewers everything from romantic tension to full-on shouting matches. When Imisi wasn’t sparring with her nemesis Faith, she was taking on Kaybobo and Rooboy in dramatic screaming duels. Meanwhile, Doris and Denari kept fans blushing with their “cute” moments, and Jason Jae, Sultana, Bright Morgan, and Mide kept viewers guessing what kind of ships they were actually sailing.

Imisi vs Faith: The Unending Cold War

If there were an Olympic medal for grudges, Imisi and Faith would have secured gold in Week 3. What started as a squabble over a cooking pot snowballed into a full-blown rivalry. Faith accused Imisi of intentionally using his pot to cook and while trying to forcefully take the pot away from her spilled its content, causing tensions to boil over in the kitchen. Harsh words were exchanged, including Faith referring to Imisi as “this illiterate Yoruba girl.”

The drama didn’t stop there. A locker incident the following week saw Faith throw Imisi’s bag to the ground, breaking her egg and sparking another heated exchange. Enter Kola, who played peacemaker and offered comfort, so much so that he even swapped spaces with her. The feud has since become a house staple, with other housemates occasionally stepping in to keep things from escalating further.

Dede: The Fisher of Men

Every season has a love triangle, but Dede gave us a love square. Despite being in a committed relationship outside the house, she has become the unwilling centre of male attention, with Kola, Jason Jae, and Koyin all vying for her time. This situation has led some housemates to jokingly refer to the men as Dede’s “fishes.”

Kola never quite recovered from being denied a hug on the first night, Jason Jae has struggled to define their “friendship” while entertaining other women, and Koyin insists he’s just a platonic friend.

The tension reached boiling point when Jason Jae kissed Sultana, triggering Dede to question his loyalty. Jason admitted he would be hurt if she kissed Kola but promised to stay friends. If that wasn’t enough drama, Kola’s kiss with Isabella added fuel to the fire, leaving Dede visibly shaken even as she tried to act unbothered.

Throw in her showdown with Big Soso, who accused her of “toying with the boys,” and it’s safe to say Dede’s love life has been one of the season’s most captivating subplots.

Bright Morgan and Mide’s Confusionship

Bright Morgan started Season 10 by proudly declaring he had a girlfriend outside the house. Fast-forward a few weeks, and he is now fully booed up with Mide. The pair have had sweet moments, but Mide suspects Bright might be playing games; who could blame her?

After hearing gossip about their relationship, Mide confronted him, saying she refuses to edit herself just to fit into his expectations. Bright Morgan reassured her, apologised, and promised to do better, earning himself a place on Mide’s self-declared probation list.

But Bright later confessed to Victory that he misses his outside woman and worries Mide may be catching deeper feelings. Despite these confessions, he and Mide keep finding their way back to each other, sometimes after fights, other times after steamy reconciliations.

Doris and Denari: The Intentional Ship

Among the chaos, Doris and Denari’s connection has been a breath of fresh air. They have bonded over food, shared heartfelt conversations on the swing, and even planned their post-show meet-ups.

Doris playfully warned Denari not to make her “like him too much,” while Denari praised her boundaries and promised to spend quality time with her beyond Biggie’s house. Fans love them because they keep things light, intentional, and drama-free — a rare commodity this season.

Sultana and Jason Jae: The Confusionship

Jason Jae is another housemate with a relationship outside the house, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting entangled with Sultana. From hugs and massages to flirty jokes, the pair have been walking a fine line all season.

Jason admitted in the diary room that Sultana wasn’t helping him fight temptation, and fans have enjoyed watching their party dance-offs and late-night conversations. But just when viewers thought they were a solid duo, Jason shocked everyone by choosing Koyin, not Sultana, as his Interim HOH guest in Week 4.

Only the previous Sunday, Jason Jae had discovered that Sultana kissed Koyin. When live show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu pressed Koyin on whether this revelation might worsen his already tense relationship with Jason Jae, Koyin coolly responded that it was “none of his business.”

Speaking to Sultana, Jason Jae explained that his decision to pick Koyin was all about avoiding drama. He admitted that choosing Sultana for the HOH condo would have been a recipe for disaster due to his situation outside the house, but she disagreed, insisting she would never cross the line because she “has shame.”

Their connection remains a classic “will-they-won’t-they” storyline that keeps shippers glued to their screens.

Mensan vs Ivatar: From Friendship to Fallout

Mensan and Ivatar were once close allies in the early weeks, but their bond has since crashed and burned. Ivatar accused Mensan of gossiping about her and exposing private conversations to other housemates.

Things reached a climax on Week 5’s Sunday live show when Ivatar called him out in front of everyone, airing all their dirty laundry and sparking one of the season’s loudest blow-ups yet. When Kaybobo asked Mensan about the situation later in the week, he insisted he admired Ivatar’s kindness but had no romantic interest, while Ivatar made it clear she just wants him to stop talking about her.
