Filmhouse Group and National Council For Arts & Culture Partner to Boost Africa’s Entertainment Sector

In a groundbreaking move, on August 13, 2024, the National Council For Arts & Culture and Filmhouse Group announced a partnership. This collaboration aims to highlight Nigeria’s cultural significance and enhance the African entertainment landscape.

 

The partnership will launch at MIP Africa, a key event during FAME Week Africa 2024 which celebrates film, music, and fashion.  This event will serve as a platform to showcase innovative projects and talent supported by the new collaboration. As content creators and producers are able to create opportunities for upcoming film contents for the global audience.

 

They aim to empower emerging talents, promote diverse cultural narratives, and inspire innovation. Focusing on Nigeria as the country of honour underscores its pivotal role in the African entertainment landscape. The partnership encourages key figures in fashion and music to engage and contribute to this exciting initiative.

 

Filmhouse cinemas partners with National Council of Arts and Culture.

 

In a press statement, Mr. Kene Okwuosa, Group CEO of Filmhouse Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.
