The recently released lead single, “Only God Can Save Me,” produced by Debo.x, encapsulates the idea of surrendering to a higher power. Over melancholic synths, somber piano melodies, and haunting drum patterns, it draws inspiration from the emotional depth of the final track on Body & Soul, “Halle,” demonstrating the solace that comes with looking to something greater when life throws you curveballs. It’s Joeboy sharing his real talk about the ups and downs of human relationships and the power of faith.
