Netflix confirms the acquisition of the brand new Indigenous feature Lisabi, with the release of behind-the-scene images.

The story, which is set in the 18th-century Oyo Empire spotlights an Egba farmer, who ignites a rebellion against the oppressive Oyo Empire. He leveraged the collective power of his fellow farmers and enigmatic abilities. His defiance, culminated in the defeat of over 6,000 Oyo soldiers and secured independence after centuries of subjugation.

According to Adedimeji Lateef the executive producer, the upcoming project stems from the success of his character in Ayinla by Tunde Kilani. The entire Yoruba, Africa and Blacks worldwide, this is for you!!!!!”.
