Afro Nation, the three-day music festival that burst onto the scene in 2019, has become a cultural phenomenon, celebrating the best in African and diasporic music. Founded by Live Nation, SLE – Sociedade Lusa de Espectáculos, and Event Horizon, the festival has brought together heavyweights in Afrobeats, Hip hop, RnB, Dancehall, Gqom, and Amapiano, creating unforgettable experiences for fans worldwide.

The festival’s influence is set to expand further with an exciting new collaboration with MAINS, the fashion brand created by British-Nigerian rapper Skepta. The collaboration was announced amid great excitement, with MAINS set to debut its latest collection at Afro Nation.

Afro Nation’s journey began with a clear vision: to amplify the sounds of the African diaspora and beyond. The festival quickly became a beacon for music lovers, featuring icons like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Buju Banton, and Ms Banks. The festival’s meteoric rise was celebrated in a mini-documentary, ‘Afro Nation: A Movement,’ which captured the essence of Afro Nation 2023 and featured interviews with influential artists and the festival’s founders.

As Afro Nation gears up for its 2024 edition, set to take place from June 26-28 on the stunning Portimão beach in Portugal, the anticipation is palpable. This year’s lineup is bigger and better, featuring global superstars such as Nicki Minaj, Rema, Asake, J Hus, Tyla, Fally Ipupa, Omah Lay, Major League DJz, Uncle Waffles, Musa Keys, DBN Gogo, Focalistic, and Vigro Deep.
