The Roots Picnic is returning to Philadelphia’s Mann in Fairmount Park this spring, and the lineup is stacked with talent. Among the many performers taking the stage from May 31 to June 1 is Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tems.

The festival, curated by The Roots and Live Nation Urban, celebrates its 17th edition this year. It features a diverse lineup of artists from various genres, and it is always one of the most anticipated events of the summer. This year is no different, with a lineup that includes heavy hitters like D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, Meek Mill, GloRilla, Latto, and many more. Special performances will commemorate significant anniversaries, such as Jeezy celebrating 20 years of Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, Musiq Soulchild marking 25 years of Aijuswanaseing, and The Roots honouring the 30th anniversary of Do You Want More?!!!??!.

Two-time Grammy winner Tems, fresh off the success of her Grammy win is expected to bring her global star power to the Picnic. With previous festival appearances at Coachella and Glastonbury under her belt, Tems is no stranger to big stages. Her performance is sure to be a highlight of the weekend.
