Fresh Out: Songs You Need to Hear this Week

Love is in the air this week, and the music is reflecting that amorous mood. With Valentine’s Day in full swing, artists across genres are delivering tracks that celebrate romance, heartbreak, and everything in between.

Asake kicks off 2025 with “Why Love?”, his first release under his independent label, Giran Republic, and Adekunle Gold offers a different take on romance with “Obimo”. Ayra Starr joins in with her latest single, “All The Love”.

Spyro leans into romance with “Beautiful”, continuing his streak of emotive, feel-good music, while T.I Blaze brings a more raw take on relationships with “Trenches Luv”.

For those in the mood for something smooth, PartyNextDoor and Drake reunite on Some Sexy Songs 4 U, a project filled with moody R&B. SZA expands her acclaimed SOS album with the deluxe edition, including new four tracks.

Meanwhile, Ruger gets the party going with “Jay Jay,” as Obongjayar makes a comeback with “Not In Surrender” and Tyla taps dancehall veteran Sean Paul for a remix of “Push 2 Start”.
