When Rooboy, the newly crowned Week 5 Head of House (HoH) in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) “10/10” House, drew a trinket that nullified all nominations last Monday, viewers braced for a calm, eviction-free live show.

But on Sunday, August 31, 2025, any hopes of a quiet evening were shattered when host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu reignited a simmering feud between housemates Ivatar and Mensan, a dispute that began after the previous eviction show on August 24.

Ivatar had previously clashed with Mensan, accusing him of slandering her behind her back, while exposing their private gist about other housemates. During that confrontation, she hurled insults and even suggested that Mensan had sexually harassed her, while he remained largely silent.  On Sunday night, Ebuka asked Mensan to speak his mind about what went on during the confrontation. Mensan said he was disappointed and had nothing more to add, except that he was expecting an apology from Ivatar. But the latter did not seem to appreciate the expectation of an apology. Moments later, when the housemates reappeared on the screen, Ivatar and Mensan were locked in a fierce exchange that dominated the rest of the show. Mensan, defending himself, alleged that Ivatar had once asked him to “keep her warm in bed,” seemingly to disprove her harassment accusation. He further accused her of stealing in South Africa, which escalated the confrontation.

The heated back-and-forth stretched for more than 30 minutes, with Ebuka at one point stepping back and quipping, “Ivatar and Mensan, over to you,” as the host seemed to enjoy the rare live show confrontation.

Though there were no evictions, the night’s chaos set the tone for what promises to be a tense second half of the season. With 22 housemates still in the running for the ₦150 million grand prize, evictions are expected to return next Sunday.
