Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season nine premiered yesterday, Sunday, July 28, 2024, featuring 28 No Loose Guard housemates. This year, one of Biggie’s twists was to have the housemates audition and compete in pairs, resulting in a total of 14 pairs in the house.

As we kick start the 71-day journey, let’s take a look at this year’s housemates and all the details about their pairings:

    1. Zion and Chinwe

They are entering Biggies’ house as a couple, who have only been together for five months. They are excited and determined to share their love with the world, whilst competing to win the prize money. They will go by the pair name Zinwe.

   2. Michky and Fairme David

Coming into the house with the name Radicals, Michky and Fairme David promise an exciting burst of energy with their friendship. They have been friends and dance partners for three months.

   3. DJ Flo and Rhutee

With a 10 year friendship, DJ Flo and Rhutlee are ready to prove the strength of their bond to the world. They call themselves Flourish.

    4. Nne and Chinwe

Causing a great shock on the audience the aunt and niece pair Ndinne aren’t afraid take on this journey in order to achieve their lifelong desires.

   5. Topher and Sooj

Friends with a long standing bond, Topher and Sooj are ready to rumble with the pair name Aces.

    6. Shaun and Victoria

Coming into the house with a two year friendship bond, they will go by the name Shatoria.

     7. Wanni and Handi

Wanni✖Handi are the first set of identical twins in the house who aren’t just sisters but professional DJ duos.

     8. Action Ben and TJay

Friends who met over their love for the BBNaija show on Twitter, Action Ben and TJay are ready to bring the heat to the house. With Tjay married and Action Ben single and ready to mingle, they will go by the name Beta.

     9. Ozee and Ocee

These identical twins shared that their desire to expand what they are currently into, is why they are on the show. They will be referred to as the Mbadiwe Twins.

    10. Toyosi and Damilola

The ice and hot friendship duo with the name Tami, are ready to mingle and cause as much chaos as possible.

    11. Anita and Nelly

With the pair name Nelita and a nine year friendship with started off at a pageant show, the ladies expressed their no nonsense policy.

    12.  Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge

Confessing immediately that the major distraction for them would be beautiful ladies, Mayor and Toby still claim to be have their heads focused on the prize. They will go by the name Streeze.

     13.  Kellyray and Kassia

This pair are already playing the game, despite being newly weds who had dated for 10 years before walking down the aisle in February. They intend to keep their marriage a secret whilst in the house and act as besties with the pair name Double Kay.

    14. Chizobo and Onyeka 

Completely different but bound by blood, the sisters, have declared the prize money as their main aim on the show. The ladies will go by the name Checkas.
