Fresh Out: Songs You Need to Hear this Week

This week, Niniola makes a grand return with Press Play, a 14-track album that features some really amazing talents across Africa. Tha Boy Myles takes things to another level with the deluxe edition of Level Up. Featuring new tracks, the project reaffirms his talent for blending Afrobeats with R&B. Seun Kuti, carrying the torch of his father Fela’s Afrobeat legacy, delivers a powerful political anthem with “Stand Well Well.”

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Souled Out, Jhené Aiko has released an expanded edition of her beloved debut album. Typically, the project merges her ethereal vocals with deeply spiritual lyrics. Juice WRLD’s posthumous collaboration with Young Thug, “Lightyears,” is a haunting, spacey track that expels both artists’ range.
