Nigerian music sensation Asake remains on his meteoric rise to global stardom, receiving a BRIT Silver plaque for his critically acclaimed album, Work of Art. The award, which recognizes albums that have sold over 60,000 units in the UK, marks another milestone in Asake’s career.
This accolade was presented to him during his sold-out performance at London’s O2 Arena on September 21, 2024, where he enthralled a massive crowd with hit songs from Work of Art and his latest album Lungu Boy.
This marks the second time one of Asake’s albums has achieved this honor in the United Kingdom, following the success of his debut album, Mr Money With The Vibe.
Moreover, Asake has made history by becoming the first Nigerian artist to have all three of his studio albums chart at number one on the UK Apple Music Album Chart.
This latest achievement adds to Asake’s growing list of accomplishments. The singer-songwriter has previously topped charts worldwide, earned numerous awards, and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
