Africa’s leading games publisher, Carry1st, has partnered with Audiomack, one of the world’s premier music streaming and discovery platforms, to simplify access to streaming services for African audiences.

Carry1st, known for its exclusive digital content and mobile games has gained popularity for titles like VALORANT, Call of Duty: Mobile, Mancala Adventures, and Mergedom, particularly in African gaming markets such as Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Ghana, Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia.

Essentially, this partnership between the two distinct companies leans on Carry1st’s payment solution, Pay1st, enabling Audiomack users in Africa to purchase subscriptions using local payment methods.

While alternative streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music may be more popular, Audiomack, with over 30 million monthly users, is well known for its focus on platforming emerging and independent artists.

Guillaume Noé, Carry1st’s Vice President of Growth for Platform, said the company is excited to be in business with “such an important platform like Audiomack, which champions entertainment and shares our passion for providing options to African consumers in the entertainment space.

This partnership is a testament to our growth and the versatility of the Carry1st Shop. Not only are we unlocking popular games, but we’re now also unlocking the music that people love,” he said.

All Audiomack subscription passes are now available for purchase through Carry1st in local currencies in Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Tanzania, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Rwanda, Uganda, and Senegal.

To kick off the collaboration, Audiomack users can take advantage of a flexible and affordable subscription pricing model, with 10% off on all passes.

Since it was founded in 2018, Carry1st has developed, licensed, and published games, effectively monetising them through Pay1st. The company is backed by major investors such as Sony, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), BITKRAFT, Google, and Riot Games.
