AKA’s Family to Release his Upcoming Album, Mass Country
Family of dead South African rapper, AKA, will release his upcoming album, Mass Country, on February 24th, 2023.

As a way to honour his life and legacy, family of dead South African rapper, AKA, plan to go ahead with the release of his upcoming album, Mass Country, on February 24th, 2023. They announced this via a press statement on AKA’s social media pages.
Nivo, the manager and co-executive producer of the album, was quoted in the press release stating:
“The team was extremely blessed to work so closely on the project with Kiernan. We spent a lot of time mapping out this roll-out and creating all the content we have under his direction. Kiernan worked tremendously hard on this project. He put his heart and soul into it, and we were blessed that he got the opportunity to map out this entire roll-out and approve all the elements, so what will be coming out will be as per his direction and his vision.”
Managing Director at Sony Music Entertainment Africa Sean Watson was also quoted. He shared: “Our hearts are broken. We’ve lost not only an icon but someone who was dear to us as a member of the Sony Music Family.”
Further, it was affirmed in the press statement that a new single titled “Company” which was recorded by AKA before his death will be released tomorrow, February 17th.
