With only five weeks left on BBNaija No Loose Guard  season 9, Biggie changes the game entirely. Housemates received the biggest shocker, when the Ninjas walked in with a 24-hour countdown, with no explanation. At the end of the countdown on Sunday, September 1, 2024, Biggie announced certain changes that took immediate effect.

Here are all the details you need to bear in mind as the game takes a different turn:

Biggie’s Pairs Have Officially Been Dissolved

At the end of the eviction show on Sunday, Biggie ushered the No Loose Guard housemates into an unpairing ceremony. The event stirred a lot of conversation, based on the capes, dramatic sound tone, badge removal and of course the tears. 

Biggie announced that the housemates would no longer continue as pairs but as individuals. Recall, housemates walked into the game with a total of 14 pairs. Six pairs (Ndi Nne, Tami, Streeze, Flourish, Zinwe and Radicals) have been evicted so far, leaving eight pairs (Aces, Beta, Chekas, Double Kay, Nelita, Shatoria, Nbadiwe Twins and Wanni x Handi). This unexpected change has set the stage for what promises to be the most intense and unpredictable phase of the season.

The dissolution comes as a huge change for both the housemates and the audience. Now eight pairs have become 16 competing individuals. The drama, tension, and excitement are about to reach new heights, and viewers can expect an electrifying showdown as each housemate fights to claim the grand prize of ₦100 million.

The Parrot is Back

The housemates returned from the unpairing ceremony, to the presence of the famous Big Brother parrot. Recall, in the last season of All Stars, the parrot was introduced into the game as it played a significant role in stirring up conversations and altercations in the house.

HOH Dynamic

Housemates will also compete for the Head of House (HOH) title as individuals. This means only one person would have immunity from evictions and can only invite one other person into the HOH lounge.
