Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido validated his global status with a history-making performance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on April 17, 2024. This marked Davido’s first time headlining a show at the arena. 

The concert, part of his ongoing “Timeless Tour,” marked a major milestone for the Afrobeats megastar as he sold out the legendary 19,000-seat venue. The artist joins his colleagues, Burna Boy and Wizkid, who sold out Madison Square Garden in 2022.

Davido had been building excitement for the concert and it was a sufficient climax; it lived up to its hype. The audience was thoroughly entertained as he performed tracks from his impactful album, Timeless, alongside other fan-favourites.
