“Jagun Jagun” Hits 2.1 Million Global Views on Netflix

The Netflix Yoruba epic, “Jagun Jagun: The Warrior,” which chronicles the journey of a young warrior who fearlessly challenges a merciless warlord, has gained enormous traction worldwide. It has pulled in 2.1 million hours of viewing on Netflix while securing its position in the top 10 list in 17 countries within a mere 48 hours of its release. 

 

It currently beats other films released on the same date such as the Korean movie, “Marry my Dead Body,” the Indian film, “Adipurush” and “The Raid Redemption” from Indonesia.

 

 

“Jagun Jagun”  now ranks fifth on the non-English global charts. The countries where it tops the chart include: Bahamas, Cyprus, Egypt, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Kenya, Martinique, Mauritius, Oman, Qatar, Reunion, Romania, South Africa, Trinidad and Tabago, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Nigeria.

 

The movie features a cast of formidable actors including Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Adebayo, Adebayo Salami, Ibrahim Yekini, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Mr Macaroni, Bimbo Ademoye, Odunlade Adekola, and Fathia Balogun.

 

“Jagun Jagun: The Warrior” is currently streaming on Netflix.
