Rashineh is a media personality, creative director, and TV Producer with South African and Nigerian heritage. He previously hosted and co-produced the music editorial show
Africa Very Special (AVS) and has led other media projects, including Culture Report AM & PM, Sing to the Bank, and The Banta Show, a live broadcast on Channel 189 DSTV.

Now, on Bounce 89.1FM, Rashineh brings that same energy to Motherland Radio, a carefully curated weekly program that highlights the best of the continent’s music scene. Every Sunday from 1:00PM to 6:00PM (WAT), he takes listeners deep into the hottest African sounds. With his cool vibe and unmatched ear for what’s next, Africa Special is where the future of African music comes alive.

Faozy

Faozy Aminu has spent 14 years in the media and entertainment scene. Her journey kicked off with a memorable first interview with Wizkid, launching an exciting career that includes hosting shows like
Round Table with Faozy and Big Shots with Faozy. Her path has taken her from Houston to Lagos, where she’s made her mark. She also helped shape the vibe at Bounce Radio during its digital days, witnessing its evolution into the station it is today.

Beyond her on-air presence, Faozy excels as a Project Manager and HR and Operations Specialist. She believes in proving that one can wear many hats. Join her for The Night Cap, the best show on the radio, where it’s always a party when she’s behind the mic.

Blossom is an amazing talent with a background in Psychology, which adds an interesting twist to her work as a TV Presenter, Host, VoiceOver artist, and Project Manager in the creative and entertainment industry. Her life is a whirlwind of on- and off-camera action, always with an audience in mind.

A self-proclaimed foodie, Blossom loves a culinary challenge — except when it comes to spicy food. She’s got plenty of tips for food pairings and combinations that everyone should try. On top of that, she’s obsessed with herbal teas, preferring them without milk because, in her words, “why ruin perfection?”

Though she works in entertainment, Blossom enjoys a cozy night in with rom-coms, Yuja tea, and snacks rather than the club scene. Musically, she thrives on a variety of genres, but Neo-Soul — especially the hits from the early 2000s — holds a special place in her heart. You can catch Blossom every Saturday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Bounce 89.1FM, where she brings fresh vibes at the top of each hour.

With his unique perspective, Uti makes Afternoon Heat a must-listen for fans seeking vibrant and thoughtful entertainment.

Derek Okorie, known as KD, is a key member of the 44DB Collective, making his mark as a producer and sound engineer. His journey into music production started in GCSE Grade 10, where he discovered a passion for creating beats and melodies that resonate with listeners. KD’s commitment to honing his craft saw him skipping classes to dive into FL Studio in the ICT lab, laying the foundation for his career. Since then, he has mastered various industry-standard DAWs, including Logic Pro and Pro Tools, developing a reputation for precision and flair in sound engineering and production.

As the host of The Drive Time Show on Bounce Radio 89.1, KD teams up with Moni every weekday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM to deliver an engaging mix of music, lively banter, and traffic updates that make the commute home enjoyable. Their fun and upbeat energy keeps listeners entertained with the latest hits, trending topics, and shoutouts.

Outside of the studio, KD stays active by hitting the gym or playing futsal, balancing his creative pursuits with a healthy lifestyle that fuels his passion for music.

BABBZ

Babatunwa Braithwaite aka ‘BABBZ’ is our very own “Jack of all trades, trader of all jacks”. By day, he dominates the corporate world; by night, he transforms into a genre-bending musician, and audio engineering producer. Musically, Babbz put out his debut EP Pineapple Juice, back in 2020, two years after moving back to Nigeria post graduation, and has been evolving ever since.

His diverse career spans marine and aviation services, oil trading, and real estate. Known for his insatiable thirst for knowledge, Babbz thrives on activities that promote peace and mindfulness. His athletic side shines through his love for golf, tennis, and fishing. An inspiring figure, Babbz motivates others to break free from traditional boxes and embrace all their talents. Bounce 89.1FM eagerly anticipates the next adventure with this unstoppable force.

Known for her eclectic sound, she blends Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, and Streetpop to keep the dance floor alive.
