This year’s Afro Nation will take place in Portugal, precisely at the Praia Da Rocha Beach, Portimao, and the new addition of mega stars who will be joining Burna Boy, 50 Cent, and French-Senegalese performer, Booba, to headline the event are Wizkid and Davido. Other super talented performers who are set to liven up the event between June 28-30th, 2023 with their superb performances include Focalistic, Popcaan, Little Simz, etc.

In a statement confirming these new additions, the organizers of the event affirmed:

“We are excited to welcome Wizkid, Davido, Little Simz, Popcaan, Focalistic and more to Afro Nation Portugal 2023. These artists represent the very best of African music and culture, and we can’t wait to see them perform on our beautiful beach stage. With so many incredible acts on the lineup, this is shaping up to be the summer’s most unmissable party, and our best festival yet.”

The event will also feature diverse acts from different parts of Africa who will bring in their own unique sound to The Algarve. South African hit makers, from the likes of Kamo Mphela, Felo Ła Tee, Sir Trill and Skyla Tylaa to Major League DJz, DJ Uncle Waffles, DBN Gogo, Vigro Deep, etc, will arrive to satisfy the crowd with infectious Amapiano grooves. Even more, Asake, BNXN, Fireboy DML, Sauti Sol, Black Sherif, Ayra Starr, Oxlade, etc, have been added to the mix to stir up massive amounts of fun. 

The schedule has been arranged for Burna Boy, Aya Nakamura and Popcaan to open the show on June 28th; smashing performances from Wizkid, Little Simz and Asake on June 29th; and a banging finale from 50 Cent, Davido, Booba and Fireboy DML on June 30th.
