Nigerian singer and Queen of Afro-house, Niniola, has released the video of her new track “Memories”. The song, which was released on February 16th under Drumroll Records, serves as her first single of the year. It is a follow-up to her previous tune, “Fuku,” which was released last year. “Memories” sees Niniola belting out her pain about a love that went sour.
The clip immediately introduces the singer who flings open a door, an act which can be regarded as quite symbolic of the heartfelt disclosure which Niniola launches into in the song. Throughout the video, the 36-year-old exposes the journey of the love story as it progresses from sweet to bitter, clearly depicting the magnitude of the heartbreak.
