The housemates of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 were back in Biggie’s house on Monday evening, June 8, to spill all the tea about what went on inside and outside the house and settle whatever misunderstandings lingered between them.

After a slow start — Zita and Mide addressing their in-house fight and confirming they had since made peace — fireworks sparked between Thelma and Big Soso after they traded insults over the former’s sour relationship with Isabella. 

Here are the five moments that defined the night:

1. Zita and Danboskid: The Romance That Never Flew

The chemistry between Zita and Danboskid was one of Season 10’s earliest talking points: the pair were caught kissing under the duvet barely 76 hours in. But the reunion confirmed things fizzled out fast. Danboskid’s gripe? He felt Zita only talked to him when it suited her. “At some point, I just felt like she was talking to me because of her hormones,” he said.

“I called you every night,” the ex-BBNaija housemate added, pushing back on her claim that he was unavailable. Zita, on her part, said what was missing was time and real investment. The takeaway: great attraction, poor execution.

2. Isabella vs Thelma: The HoH Betrayal

Isabella’s opening salvo was personal. She said she felt her personality was too much for Thelma. Thelma dismissed the suggestion: “It’s all in your head.” From there, the conversation moved to the moment that crystallised the tension between them: Thelma picking Kayikunmi as her HoH guest immediately after Isabella had cried to her about him. Isabella appeared to believe that Thelma had chosen Kayikunmi because she liked him, which deepened the sense of betrayal. Thelma, who was later brought to tears, maintained that she owed Isabella no explanation, arguing instead that Kayikunmi had behaved as though she liked him and had made her look bad in the process.

Kayikunmi, called upon to respond, said he had already told Isabella that he knew Thelma before entering the house and that he simply wanted to enjoy the privileges of the HoH lounge. What stung Isabella most, though, was not the act itself, according to her, it was that she had confided in Thelma about Kayikunmi, and Thelma had withheld information she already had about him.

3. Big Soso vs Thelma: The Night’s Main Event

This was the exchange viewers came for. Big Soso entered the conversation squarely on Isabella’s side, asserting that Thelma was never a genuine sister to her and that choosing Kayikunmi as her HoH guest was driven by “malicious intent.” “You don’t have to advertise your foolishness here. You don’t like Bella — stop pretending you like her,” she told Thelma. Big Soso also alleged that Thelma had tried to put down Zita during the season, painting a picture of Thelma as someone who wittingly undermined the women around her.

Thelma responded in kind: “You have a personality disorder.” Big Soso countered: “You’re not up to my net worth.” Thelma replied: “You’re a very little one.” The host, Ebuka, was forced to step in to restore order. 

4. Sabrina vs Otega: The Airhead Allegation

Sabrina’s grievance against Otega was rooted in a sense of betrayal. She said had been vulnerable with him — sharing private things she did not share with relatives — only for him to later call her an airhead. She described his behaviour as vindictive, tracing it back to a moment when she named Kola as her favourite housemate rather than him, which she suggested had wounded his ego.

Otega denied claims that he had said he came on the show specifically for Sabrina: “I never said I came on the show to look for her. You no dey there when I fill the form” He acknowledged being drawn to her at the auditions but said he eventually stepped back because, in his words, “I was punching above my weight… Her bag is heavy.” It was a candid admission, if not exactly the apology Sabrina appeared to be looking for.

5. Doris vs Kola: Friendship, Misreading, and Malice

Their fallout in the house had begun after Doris told other housemates that Kola liked her — a claim Kola denied — which soured what he maintained was a platonic friendship. On Monday night, Doris walked back her position, acknowledging she may have misread his intentions. “I don’t think we hated each other in the house. We vibed at the Saturday parties,” she said, denying any jealousy.

Kola was less conciliatory. He said the nature of his relationship with Doris was no different from his friendship with Imisi — who went on to win the show — and that Doris had “maligned him incessantly” after misreading his overtures. She replied that Kola had done the same to her, including calling her Alhaji’s food, suggesting that only old men could be interested in her. Kola doubled down, saying, “You are Alhaji’s food.” Doris responded that Kola was “inconsequential.”  The duo’s clash wrapped up the show on Monday.
