For 72 days — from Saturday, July 26, to Sunday, October 5, 2025 — 29 housemates of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 delivered unforgettable moments of drama, ranging from romance to bitter fights and everything in between. Even as weekly evictions reduced their numbers, the remaining housemates kept viewers hooked with endless entertainment.

Hence, it’s no surprise that many fans have hailed the 10th season, aptly tagged “10/10,” as truly deserving of the title for serving up drama, emotion, and excitement in equal measure. Until Sunday, October 5, when Imisi was crowned the season’s winner — and the fourth woman ever to win the show — housemates sustained a high level of excitement.

As the curtain fell on BBNaija Season 10 with the presentation of prizes worth ₦150 million to Imisi on Tuesday, October 7, BSide looks back at the top 10 moments that defined the “10/10” edition, from the winner announcement to the heated clashes and emotional breakdowns.

10. Mensan vs Kaybobo

The fireworks began early, just two days into the show. On Day 2, Ivatar and Sultana got into a messy confrontation after Sultana warned Ivatar not to stain her shoes while she cleaned the kitchen floor. What was meant as a kind caution spiralled into a shouting match. But that clash was nothing compared to the Day 3 showdown between Mensan and Kaybobo, which featured accusations of bullying and a flood of tears. Mensan kicked off the storm by calling Kaybobo a bully over a misunderstanding — a label that triggered painful memories for Kaybobo.

“You [Mensan] want to see a bully? If you see me left, go right,” Kaybobo warned through tears. Mensan responded with insults, challenging him to a street fight: “You [Kaybobo] are just a fool — an overgrown baby! Meet me inside Rumuokoro Street, make I less you, idiot!” Housemates struggled to calm Kaybobo throughout the encounter. 

9. Kayikunmi vs Bright Morgan

An even more explosive fight broke out between Kayikunmi and Bright Morgan on Day 9. It began as an argument over Bright Morgan’s delay in responding to Head of House (HoH) Thelma’s call, but quickly snowballed after Kuture told Bright Morgan that Kayikunmi had called him “a bitch.”

Bright Morgan stormed into the kitchen, threatening to break a bottle on Kayikunmi’s head as other housemates struggled to restrain him. “Na me you call bitch? I go collect strike, I go scatter your face!” he fumed.

Big Brother ironically granted his wish, handing him a double strike for physical threats and aggressive behaviour. One more strike would have meant automatic disqualification, but Bright Morgan managed to keep his cool until his eviction on Saturday, September 20.

8. Kuture vs Faith

Just a week later, on Day 16, Kuture lost his temper and threatened to beat up Faith after a dispute over a lighter. Faith had kept the lighter during supplies distribution, leaving Kuture unable to light his cigarette. “I go beat you. Your face go bend. The way I go beat you ehn, dem no go fit stitch your face!” Kuture raged, as Faith struggled to explain himself.

Big Brother described the threats as showing “malicious intent,” issued him a final warning, and punished him by ordering him to fill an entire notebook with the line: “Violence is never the answer.” Kuture spent weeks completing the task, even breaking down in tears from the stress.

7. The “Three Fishes” Clash: Dede vs Big Soso

In the early days, Dede was caught in a love “square” with three male housemates — Kola, Jason Jae, and Koyin — whom she jokingly referred to as her “three fishes.” But Big Soso was having none of it. On Day 29, she confronted Dede, accusing her of “stringing along” the trio despite claiming to have a partner outside the house. “I took it personal (sic) when you addressed them as fish. It might not concern me, but I took it personal (sic),” Big Soso said.

Dede shot back: “First of all, Soso, I genuinely do not care if we talk or we do not talk. From the bottom of my heart, I don’t know you from anywhere… Stay away from me.” The remark enraged Big Soso, who called Dede an “ashawo” (local word for prostitute) before later apologising.

6. Imisi vs Rooboy

Eventual winner Imisi may have built close friendships with housemates like Kola and Kaybobo in the house, but her fiery, no-nonsense personality often put her at odds with others. Her most explosive fight came on Day 24 with Rooboy.

It was unclear what sparked the altercation, but it quickly descended into personal insults. Rooboy accused Imisi of using a “poverty strategy” to win: “Everybody is poor, na why we dey here.” He then escalated the confrontation by blocking her from entering the lounge — a possible rule violation — but Big Brother issued no punishment. The confrontation cemented Imisi’s reputation as the most-talked-about housemate on social media.

5. Imisi’s Spoon Heist

On Day 48, after a clash with HoH Thelma over denied access to alcohol for the pool party, Imisi took all the house spoons and forks hostage.

For 48 hours, housemates were forced to eat with their hands or makeshift spoons. Even her closest ally, Kola, couldn’t convince her to relent at first. After much persuasion from Kola, Imisi eventually agreed to return the spoons. But another round of chaos broke out when she nonchalantly walked past housemates to return the cutlery to the kitchen, and they discovered she had hidden them with her (unused) sanitary pad stash.

4. Imisi and Faith’s Kerosene Tussle

Day 21 marked the start of multiple Imisi vs Faith battles. But their third and most intense — and equally entertaining — one on Day 39 involved a keg of kerosene. During the “Bare Minimum Week,” when Big Brother replaced the gas cooker with a kerosene stove, Faith — then HoH — turned off the light on Imisi’s meal and poured the hot kerosene into a keg.

Furious, Imisi grabbed the keg to stop him from taking it. She even asked for a stool to sit, making clear her intention not to let go of the keg. Most of the housemates came to Imisi’s defence, with Jason Jae accusing Faith of being “power drunk.” Big Brother later diffused the situation by summoning Faith to the Diary Room.

3. Ivatar and Mensan’s Live Show Moment

Ebuka is known for stirring drama with probing questions during live eviction shows, but never before had his questions triggered an on-air shouting match until Live Show 5 on August 31. The tension had started the previous week when Ivatar accused Mensan of gossiping about her, leading to a fallout and mutual spilling of secrets. But Mensan was mostly silent during that confrontation. So, when Ebuka asked Mensan to share his thoughts about the incident the next week, he said he was waiting for an apology. Ivatar scoffed, and moments later, the two were yelling at each other on live TV.

“Shut up your mouth!” Ivatar screamed. Ebuka had to beg them to calm down so he could continue the show. But the host told them that they could resume the fighting after he left, and they did exactly that as soon as he signed off.

2. Faith’s Disqualification

By Day 47, Faith had already labelled Imisi — his nemesis — a threat to his success. But it wasn’t her who ended his run — it was Sultana. On Day 64, Sultana and Faith had sat down to resolve their differences after he had disrespected her as the HoH. But four days later, on Day 68, that sit-down turned out to be an exercise in futility as Faith goaded Sultana into a fight over how to go about a task.

The tense exchange resulted in Faith violently dragging a basket of materials from Sultana, causing her to fall and injure her hand and ankle. Big Brother ruled the act a violation of the no-violence rule and disqualified Faith immediately, without warning or strikes, making him the first and only housemate expelled from BBNaija Season 10.  It marked the dramatic end of Faith’s much-talked-about villain arc.

1. Imisi’s Crowning Moment

Though not an early favourite, Imisi gradually won viewers over with her resilience, talent, and boldness. As Big Brother put it, she was a “box of talents,” contributing energy and creativity to weekly wager tasks. Her crowning as the 10th winner of BBNaija marked the season’s defining moment. Overcome with emotion, the 23-year-old actor from Oyo State fell to her knees in disbelief as she received prizes worth ₦150 million, including ₦80 million in cash.

Her landslide victory — 42.8% of the total votes, compared to runner-up Dede’s 15.94% — was proof of her dominance. Imisi didn’t just win; she embodied what it means to be a 10/10 reality TV star.

Honourable mention

When the Saturday night party of September 20 ended, housemates believed they still had nearly a full day before the next Sunday live eviction show. But Ebuka had other plans. Moments after the party, he made a surprise visit to the house, unannounced and unexpected.

Startled but excited, the housemates rushed to welcome him, unaware of what was coming next. Then came the twist: after a few pleasantries, Ebuka reached into his jacket and pulled out the famous BBNaija eviction envelope. In an instant, the atmosphere shifted. He announced that Bright Morgan and Thelma had reached the end of their BBNaija journey. The housemates were stunned — some even believed it was a prank — until reality sank in: the evictions were very real.
