What can be regarded as one of the most exciting music weeks this year arrives this week, with surprise releases, highly anticipated albums, and Afropop singles. Starting Fresh Out for this week is Teni with the arrival of her EP The Wellness Package. After her singles run in 2025, including her viral anthem, “Money,” the singer-songwriter ushers listeners into another season. This also arrives with her collaboration with Rapper-singer Olamide on “Zion.”
After his first live performance of his fourth album M$NEY in London presented by Spotify, Asake officially releases M$NEY Live in London, an 18-track project studded with additional new tracks. Once again, the Afrobeats icon continues to expand the sound’s influence on the global front. Meanwhile, fast-rising singer Mavo continues to cement his place in Nigerian music. And with his run this year, the singer appears not to be slowing down. His latest instalment in his discography is his third music project, Business Mix Tape.
Away from Nigerian music is South African star Tyla, who comes into the second half of the year with her pop-inflected album A*Pop. Following his successful journey with Libende Boyz, Congolese artist TSHIM continues to build his solo identity with the romantic Afrobeats featuring Nigerian guitarist Fiokee. Their latest collaboration “TIA NASE” is a heartfelt song about love, forgiveness and second chances, offering a fresh pan-African collaboration between two outstanding artists.
Since she dropped her viral song “Okunkun,” singer Solana has been unrelenting with her motion. This month she arrives with another track, “Dide,” upholding her recent YoruPop sound. Singer-songwriter Taves fully embraces his pop sound with the release of his sophomore EP Popstar Side A.
Other new releases include new singles from Zaylevelten, Dotty The Deity, Tiphe, and DJ Neptune, Joeboy, and Odumodublvk. This week’s Fresh Out brings you all the vibe you need for the weekend; check out all the songs below.
