Corteiz Takes Aim at Palace with Brazil Tracksuit Re-Release and Tri-Ferg Logo Flip

Corteiz fires back at Palace with a re-release and cheeky remix. What’s brewing in this fashion feud?

Corteiz founder Clint419 has accused Palace of copying the Brazil tracksuit that Corteiz originally released in June 2024. Palace recently unveiled their latest drop, which pays homage to Brazilian football legend Ronaldo, also known as R9. In response, Corteiz is re-releasing its Brazil tracksuit tomorrow, on the same day as Palace’s drop.

To escalate things further, Corteiz is also releasing a graphic tee that flips Palace’s iconic Tri-Ferg logo, replacing “Palace” with “Corteiz.” This bold move shows Clint419’s unique approach to rivalry, using creativity to challenge competitors. Known for pushing boundaries, Clint often incorporates cultural references into his designs, and this remix of Palace’s logo is no exception. His response highlights his ability to flip familiar symbols and make them his own, a signature move that has earned him recognition in the streetwear scene.

Some argue that Clint’s bootleg designs reflect a deeper conversation in streetwear about originality, homage, and imitation. While this may seem like a cheeky play on Palace’s identity, it also critiques the industry’s approach to creative ownership. Clint’s remix of Palace’s Tri-Ferg could be interpreted as reclaiming space in a crowded market, reminding everyone that hype doesn’t have to follow traditional rules.

By remixing Palace’s iconic design, Clint is making a broader statement on the ongoing dialogue within streetwear. This bootleg piece isn’t just a jab at Palace; it serves as commentary on how streetwear brands use familiar symbols to critique or respond to cultural norms. Whether this tee becomes a streetwear staple or remains a symbolic statement, it adds fuel to the tension between Corteiz and Palace, sparking debate on originality and innovation in the fashion industry.
