Funke Akindele’s A Tribe Called Judah has become the highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time. It was also the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of 2023.

According to data shared by Funke Akindele, in just under three weeks, it raked in ₦854 million at the Nigerian box office.

The movie had an incredible opening weekend, making ₦113 million, which is the highest ever recorded in the Nollywood industry. 

Funke Akindele remains a powerhouse in Nollywood, telling stories that entertain, challenge, and connect with audiences at home and abroad. She breaks her own records. Her film, Battle on Buka Street made over ₦668 million at the box office and was previously the highest grossing Nollywood film.
