Asake has been announced as one of the headliners for the Yardland Festival in France. The festival, which had its inaugural edition in July 2024, celebrates global music with a strong focus on African and diaspora sounds, and is set to take place in Paris. Previous performers include Rema, ODUMODUBLVCK, NSG, Amaarae, and Didi B.

This year’s edition is scheduled from July 4 to 6 at the Hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes. Asake, whose fusion of Fuji, Amapiano, and street pop has defined the next wave of Afrobeats, will take center stage alongside Atlanta rapper Latto, Belgian hip-hop star Hamza, and French Afro-trap sensation Tiakola. Other performers include Sahbabii, French rapper Lacrim, Martinican artist Meryl, Theodora, JRK 19, and Guy2Bezbar, the collective XVbarbar, and more.

In addition to his Yardland Festival appearance, Asake has been busy with other projects. He recently launched his own imprint, Giran Republic, under which he released the single “Why Love” and ventured into the marijuana retail business in California.

Since its debut, Yardland has established itself as a pivotal event, drawing approximately 40,000 attendees and featuring over 55 performers. With his ever-growing international appeal, Asake’s presence at the festival is expected to be a major attraction, drawing fans from across Europe and beyond.
