The crowd erupted as she belted out a selection of her greatest hits, including the chart-topping “Rush,” which holds the distinction of being the first and only song by a Nigerian female artist to achieve Diamond certification in France.

Ayra Starr also offered a preview of her upcoming sophomore album, The Year I Turned 21 set to drop on May 31st, performing “Control”, a track off the LP.

This French performance follows hot on the heels of her headlining set at the C6 Fest in Sau Paulo, Brazil. The superstar also holds 3 nominations for the 2024 BET Awards including for the Best New Artist and Best African Act.

Ayra Starr is clearly on a global takeover mission. With a new album on the horizon, fans can expect even more from the Afropop star.
