Big Brother Keeps Housemates Guessing After ‘Evicting’ Dede, Joanna and Rooboy

Back in the main house, the remaining 16 housemates are still speculating about what has happened and what Biggie might do next.

In Big Brother’s “10/10” house, answering the red phone is always a gamble. It could mean enjoying a luxury treat – as Joanna and Dede discovered last week – or facing a dramatic fake eviction, as the pair and Rooboy found out today, Monday, September 8.

Last week, Joanna picked up the red phone in the lounge and was rewarded with a lavish treat: a secluded room, free food, and a comfortable rest. The experience left other housemates eager for their turn. When the phone rang again on Monday morning, Dede was the quickest to answer. On the line was Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host of the live eviction show. He instructed her to choose another housemate to share a surprise with, and she returned the favour by choosing Joanna. Moments later, Ebuka announced that both Dede and Joanna had been evicted.

Big Brother then instructed the pair to pack their bags and leave the house immediately. Their abrupt departure stunned the remaining housemates and convinced many viewers that the eviction was real. But a dramatic twist later revealed that neither Dede nor Joanna had been evicted – instead, they had been moved into a secret room.

Later in the evening, the phone rang once more. This time, Rooboy beat Jason Jae to the call. Again, it was Ebuka’s voice on the line, telling Rooboy that he, too, had been evicted. For housemates who had begun to suspect that Joanna and Dede’s exits were part of a prank, Rooboy’s removal left them visibly shocked. Faith, especially, was left in tears.

Soon after, viewers watched as Rooboy entered the secret room, where he was greeted by an equally surprised Joanna and Dede. Rooboy said he had feared they had been permanently evicted from the house.

Back in the main house, the remaining 16 housemates are still speculating about what has happened and what Biggie might do next. Even some viewers remain unsure how Big Brother plans to use the three housemates hidden away in the secret room.

With fewer than four weeks to go until the show’s grand finale on October 5, there are still 19 housemates in play, raising questions about how Big Brother will reduce the numbers before the final day.
