The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) experience came to an end for housemates Daniel Olatunji, better known as Danboskid, and Ibifubara Davies, as they became the first contestants to be evicted from the “10/10” season.

Their evictions were announced by long-time host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during the Sunday live eviction show on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Voting results revealed that Danboskid and Ibifubara each secured less than 1% of the total votes, out of 27 housemates who were up for eviction.

The evictions marked a dramatic start to the season’s elimination phase. Several housemates expressed surprise at the departure of Danboskid, whom they regarded as an active competitor.

Tension had been building since last Monday, when a dramatic search for an envelope containing an immunity card ended with 27 housemates being put up for possible eviction out of 29. After the Head of House (HoH), Victory, gained immunity from winning the HoH challenger contest, he received the power to save a housemate. He used the power to prevent fellow housemate Kayikunmi from being put up for possible eviction.

On Sunday, Danboskid was the first to leave the house, followed shortly afterwards by Ibifubara, whose departure made her the second contestant to exit the competition.

Their exits came a week after a live eviction show in which no one was sent home, and just two weeks after the season kicked off on Saturday, July 27, 2025. With two contestants gone, the remaining 27 housemates continue to compete for the coveted grand prize of ₦150 million.
