Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, have renewed their vows at a lavish white wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida, United States.
Dubbed CHIVIDO 2025, the event saw Davido and his groomsmen clad in sharp brown suits, and featured Chioma in a stunning lacy white gown.
The white wedding, held from Sunday night into the early hours of Monday (WAT), hosted an estimated 1,300 guests. Performers included Adekunle Gold, who thrilled the crowd with “Higher,” his hit featuring Davido, and Stonebwoy, who performed “Go Higher” and “Activate,” his collaboration with the groom.
Davido, the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) boss, also performed “With U” from his fifth studio album 5ive, while his wife—and mother of their twin children—danced along. During the festivities, Davido presented Chioma with a Richard Mille Factory Diamond watch valued at $300,000, according to the vendor who presented it to the bride.
“David, I remember last year, one of your songs said ‘I am not available’. I know there are many women in your pouch. Some wanted to breathe out of you. They will continue to post your pictures. Even today, some will sleep with your picture under their pillows. Please, tell them, ‘I am not around’,” he said.
Notable personalities at the ceremony included the groom’s father, Adedeji Adeleke; his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke; Dangote Group CEO, Aliko Dangote; and Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, among others.
Just days before the wedding, Davido sparked an online conversation after claiming he spent $3.7 million (about ₦5.6 billion) in cash on the event.

Davido and Chioma first got engaged in 2019. By March 2023, the singer revealed they had legally married. Sunday’s Miami celebration marked the couple’s third wedding ceremony, following their court wedding in November 2022 and their traditional wedding in 2024.
