Burna Boy’s 5th Billboard Hot 100 Entry

Burna Boy’s latest collaboration, “Just Like Me,” with American rapper 21 Savage and producer Metro Boomin’, has debuted at No. 67 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking his fifth entry on the chart.

The African Giant’s Billboard Hot 100 journey began in 2021 with “Loved By You” featuring Justin Bieber. Since then, he’s charted with “Last Last,” “Sitting On Top Of The World” with 21 Savage, and “Talibans II” with Byron Messia. “Just Like Me” extends his streak, tying him with fellow Nigerian artist Tems for the most entries by an African artist on the chart.

As usual, Burna Boy has been a roll. He was recently
announced as one of the music acts who will perform at the GRAMMYs live event in February. He currently holds the Nigerian record for most nominations in a single Grammy year with four nominations. His nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” featuring 21 Savage makes him the first Nigerian lead artist nominated outside of the global categories.
