Cassper Nyovest’s record attendance at the FNB Stadium has led to speculation about whether the African Giant can surpass it and sell out the seats.

Burna Boy will be in South Africa on September 23rd, 2023 for his concert which will take place at the First National Bank Stadium in Johannesburg. This will be his second visit to South Africa, a year after headlining the DStv Delicious Festival at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg.
South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest is the only African artist to have topped the attendance records at the iconic FNB Stadium — which has a capacity of over 94,000 people — in 2017 with 68,000 people. This leads to lots of speculation as to whether the African Giant will surpass Nyovest’s record and achieve a sold-out stadium.
Following the global success of his 2022 album Love, Damini, Burna Boy won his fourth BET International Act award in June 2023, walking away with the “Best International Act” award. Earlier this year, Rolling Stone, ranked him number 197 on its list of the 200 greatest singers of all time.
