Grammy-winning Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy etched his name further into music history, becoming the first African artist to headline London Stadium twice. This performance capped his record-shattering “I Told Them…” world tour on June 29, 2024.

Burna Boy’s repeat sell-out at the colossal 80,000-seater stadium continues to validate his position as the African Giant. Building upon his performance there in 2023, he demonstrated his enduring appeal and the surging popularity of Afrobeats on the international stage.

 

The African Giant delivered a dazzling performance for the London crowd. Accompanied by his renowned band, The Outsiders, he treated fans to a setlist packed with his biggest hits.

He further amplified the evening by sharing the spotlight with a spectrum of Nigerian talent. Rappers ODUMODUBLVCK and Street Hop sensation Shallipopi turned up the energy higher with their hit collaboration “Cast.” Alternative music star Boj and Omah Lay were also present.

 

Beyond the London shows, Burna Boy has been racking up accolades. He was recently featured on Spotify’s 2024 Summer List alongside fellow Nigerian artists Ayra Starr and Tems. He’s also shown his commitment to philanthropy, with reports detailing his visit to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, where he reportedly paid hospital bills. He’s also set to make his Nollywood film debut as an executive producer in the upcoming thriller 3 Cold Dishes.
