Chukwuka Ekweani, professionally known as CKay, has scored another major win for African music. Earlier this year, the singer became the most viewed African artist on YouTube. He was the first African to reach one billion streams on Spotify. It has 661 million streams, overtaking Burna Boy’s African Giant which was at 660.9 million streams on Spotify. CKay the First was produced by the super talented singer himself, CKay, with significant contributions from other talented acts such as Tempoe and Real Btee.

His song, “Love Nwantiti”, which can be rendered a global anthem since it dominated several social media platforms and digital streaming platforms, has received several certifications in different countries.
