ODUMODUBLVCK has just made a major move in his career. The Nigerian rapper has officially signed with American record label, Def Jam Recordings, joining the ranks of global superstars like Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, and Rihanna.

This exciting development also means that ODUMODUBLVCK is now label mates with his Nigerian colleague, Adekunle Gold, who signed with Def Jam earlier this year.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, ODUMODUBLVCK has been making waves with his music, such as the popular track “Declan Rice and the Zlatan-assisted single, “Picanto,” which dominated Nigeria’s music charts for twelve weeks straight. The Abuja-based rapper claimed the top spot on Apple Music’s Alternative Charts.

His latest hit record, “Declan Rice,” is a taste of what’s to come from his highly anticipated debut EP, Eziokwu. The EP promises a mix of hard-hitting rap and captivating melodies, showcasing ODUMODUBLVCK’s unique blend of Okporoko — a genre he describes as a fusion of grime, Fela Kuti’s Afrobeat, and progressive R&B.
