Rita Dominic Takes Over Leadership of Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant

Rita Dominic-Anosike has assumed the leadership of the popular Miss Nigeria beauty pageant. She will take over from Folio Communications, which has managed the competition for the past 16 years. This announcement marks a significant turning point for the country’s greatest pageant.
AWARD-winning actress, Rita Dominic has taken over the administration of the Miss Nigeria Organisation after 16 years of it being ran by Folio Communications.

Rita Dominic, a well-known actress and producer, has been a household name in Nigeria for years. Her involvement in the entertainment industry and passion for empowering women make her the perfect fit for this new role.
Speaking about her appointment, she expressed her excitement and dedication to the cause: The Miss Nigeria Pageant is a true representation of One Nigeria. Over the years, the platform has empowered young women from a variety of socioeconomic, racial, and religious backgrounds.”
She continued, “I am pleased with what my husband, Mr. Fidelis Anosike, founder of Folio Communications and publisher of the Daily Times newspaper, has accomplished with the brand over the course of the brand’s 16-year history. I’m happy to say that he is giving me the reins and collaborating with TASC.”
Fidelis Anosike, husband of Rita Dominic, praised those responsible for the inception of Miss Nigeria and extended congratulations to Chief Atinuke Oyelude, the first Miss Nigeria, who is set to turn 93 on November 16.
He expressed his optimism about Rita Dominic’s role, saying, “She will make Nigeria proud and raise the bar for the pageant; I am convinced. With high hopes that the Miss Nigeria platform will evolve into a trust for the empowerment of young Nigerian women, we warmly welcome the Audrey Silva firm into the Miss Nigeria 1957 alliance.“
