Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated Nigerian singer Tems is embarking on her first headlining world tour, “Born in the Wild,” in support of her debut album of the same name, dropping June 7.
She released “Love Me JeJe,” a reimagining of Nigerian singer-songwriter Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 hit of the same name, following her debut performance of the single at Coachella in April.
Joined by Naomi Sharon and Lekan, Tems will start the global tour (that spans four continents) on June 12 in London at Eventim Apollo with visits to major markets across Europe including France, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands.
The North American leg will start on August 22 in Miami at the Fillmore Miami Beach, with stops in Boston (Agganis Arena), Los Angeles (the Greek Theatre), New York (Radio City Music Hall) and more. Tems will then head to Africa and complete the run in Australia at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Nov. 15.
Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on May 17 at 10 a.m. local time. Artist presale starts May 14 at 10:00 a.m. local in North America.
