After years of creating hits behind the scenes, producer-turned-artist Young Jonn has finally released his highly anticipated debut album, Jiggy Forever. Released on April 12, 2024, the 16-track project is a fresh exploration of Afrobeats infused with global influences.

Signed to Chocolate City label in 2021, Young Jonn began testing the waters with the critically acclaimed Love Is Not Enough EP series which contain the popular tracks, “Xtra Cool” and “Dada” featuring Davido.

Jiggy Forever feels like the culmination of that journey, a full-fledged declaration of his artistic identity.

Throughout the album, Young Jonn collaborates with various artists to engage with themes ranging from love and longing to financial success. Tracks like “Hold On” featuring Jamaican Dancehall star Sean Paul probe the depths of relationships, while “50 Million” and “Full My Tank” with Zlatan, alongside Don Jazzy, celebrate prosperity in the streets of Lagos, Nigeria. “Maya Maya” sees him teaming up with French-Congolese sensation Ya Levis for a stylistic portrayal of youthful romance.

The album also features hits such as “Aquafina,” a love anthem with an Amapiano vibe, which has amassed 30 million streams and 1 million views on YouTube, and “Sharpally,” another popular track that continues to gain streams since its release. “Big Big Things,” featuring Seyi Vibes and Kizz Daniel, serves as a confident anthem within the collection.

This album is really special to me. I feel like most people don’t really know who I am. They just have an idea,” Young Jonn Says. “But this project uncovers the real me. Each track is like a snapshot of life’s roller coaster, touching on love, hustle, and finding my way in a world that sometimes feels upside down.”
