Burna Boy, Tems and Rema Set to Headline 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend Performance

This year’s forthcoming NBA All-Stars weekend game which kicks off on Friday, 17th February is set to be like no other. For the first time ever, the famed halftime performance — which has seen legacy acts like Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Lil Wayne and many others grace the center stage — will be Afrobeats-themed with Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Tems, Burna Boy and Rema headlining the event. In the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake, Utah, the three Nigerian stars will be joined by movie star Vin Diesel who would welcome fans to the event, Jewel, Canadian singer Jully Black, Utah singing group The Bonner Family and global star Post Malone is also set to perform a medley of hits. 

 

 

After the performances, LeBron James, the NBA’s all-time scoring leader, will be honoured for recently breaking the record that was held for so long by basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The 72nd All-Star game will tip off at 8:00pm ET as Team Giannis faces off with Team LeBron in an highly anticipated game that promises to be entertaining and fun.
