This Sunday night, the world will be turning its attention to the anticipated 2025 Super Bowl clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Like most Super Bowls before this, this year’s edition is poised to unpack a great deal of sports and entertainment, further reinforcing the NFL season’s final game as a premier global sports event. Central to this is the tech industry which continues to elevate the viewing experience and promises to deliver yet another grand showing this year.

Globally and in different sectors, the deployment of tech solutions is a constant, particularly in areas like security, analytics, logistics and more. This is also true for the Super Bowl, but beyond that, its historical commercials — positioned to significantly influence consumer culture — have long served as a prime stage for tech companies. The event serves as a unique stage to reach an unprecedented number of viewers. The 2024 Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, for instance, drew an estimated 210 million viewers, making it the ninth most-watched sporting event in the world. With this year’s edition expected to attract even more viewers to the 83,000-capacity Caesars Superdome, big tech companies, among others in various industries, have invested no less than $7 million for a 30-second ad spot during Super Bowl 59, per Forbes.

Here are the biggest tech companies in the mix and the products they’re spotlighting.

Social media giant Meta isn’t promoting any of its social media networks but will showcase its AI Ray-Ban Meta glasses, featuring actors Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, and media personality Kris Jenner.

GoDaddy: GoDaddy Airo

Internet domain registry company GoDaddy returns to the Super Bowl commercial spotlight with its new suite of AI tools, GoDaddy Airo. The AI solution is designed to solve a boatload of problems for small business owners including the creation of a professional website, the generation of a unique logo, social media posts and more. The ad is headlined by actor Walton Goggins.
