Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK has been announced as the winner of the highly coveted Next Rated award at the 2025 Headies. ODUMODUBLVCK won over a competitive field of nominees, including Shallipopi, Ayo Maff, Qing Madi, and Nasboi. This win follows his previous recognition as Rookie of the Year in the last edition of the Headies, confirming his transition from rising talent to an artist with serious staying power.

The Next Rated award has a strong track record of identifying future superstars in the Nigerian music industry. Past recipients like Asake (who won in 2023) have gone on to achieve widespread acclaim. ODUMODUBLVCK now joins this esteemed list of artists poised for continued success.

Adding to his great night, ODUMODUBLVCK also delivered a performance that rocked the audience and took home the award for Best Rap Single for his collaboration with Shallipopi, “Cast.”
