Detty December is around the corner, and South African DJ and record producer Black Coffee is set to blaze the city of Lagos as he returns for another electrifying show. In partnership with M:E Entertainment and DAPO, the DJ will be taking over Lagos with a new experience titled “THIS IS ME”. The team behind landmark events like Rampa Lagos and Black Coffee Lagos are bringing back a bigger and more immersive electronic and Afrohouse music moment with the legacy performer, Black Coffee.

The Grammy Award-winning DJ performed a sold-out date in Lagos earlier this year on April 5th 2026. At a historic, one-night-only pan-African electronic music showcase at the Royal Box Event Centre in Lagos, he delivered an unforgettable musical experience for many attendees. Many who wanted to experience it missed their chance, and the request that followed was clear: Bring Him Back! M:E Entertainment x DAPO listened, and on Saturday, 19 December, Black Coffee returns to headline THIS IS ME, a 12-hour event built for an expected 5,000 guests.

Building on two years of transforming the global perception of Lagos’s music scene, highlighted by unexpected appearances from Burna Boy and Olamide at Rampa Lagos, and the landmark Black Coffee event in April, M:E Entertainment introduces its most daring project to date.

Centred around the theme Mirror Mirror  Double Vision, the festival celebrates duality, reflection, and the multifaceted rhythms that define the energy of Lagos’s nightlife. With this theme, Black Coffee is moving away from the standard club appearance in Lagos to electrify the city with the highly anticipated gruelling 12-hour marathon.

With some of the biggest Afro house DJ’s on the lineup, including award-winning Black Coffee, attendees can anticipate the full lineup, venue and ticketing details to be announced in the coming weeks.

At the peak of Detty December in Lagos, and landing right on the prime weekend before Christmas, the festive season targets an influx of international travellers, the Nigerian diaspora, and locals seeking the ultimate holiday nightlife experience. It is the perfect opportunity for Black Coffee to connect with his audience.
