The second night of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 reunion aired on Tuesday, June 9, turning into an extended reckoning with unfinished business.

Hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the night brought together the most unresolved storylines of the season: relationships that ended badly, post-show behaviour that contradicted what was said on the couch, and at least one admission that nobody saw coming.

Three stories drove the episode. The prolonged fallout between Gigi Jasmine and Victory, the Sultana-Jason Jae situationship, and the Kola and Dede ship that never really sailed inside and outside the house.

Victory and Gigi Jasmine: From Akwa Ibom Bond to “Master’s Degree in Delusion”

Gigi Jasmine said her relationship with Victory was driven by their shared Akwa Ibom roots and genuine reciprocation that she felt from Victory in the early days. She admitted she made the first move. “There are times he puts himself in positions that are off,” she said, describing a pattern of mixed signals. 

Their post-show story added fresh texture to the in-house version. After both were evicted in Week 4, they agreed to a clean slate and Victory told her they would get to know each other properly. He reversed course by the finale, stopped answering her calls, and they have not spoken since.

Victory’s account was flat denial on most counts. He said he had always been honest, that he told Gigi when his feelings changed, and that she already knew he would not pick her as his Head of House (HoH) guest. He denied ever declaring love or a desire to marry Sultana, prompting Sultana to push back directly: “You called me downstairs and said you were in love with me and wanted to marry me.” Victory said he had been joking.

Perhaps the most shocking moment of the exchange came when Victory volunteered information about their post-eviction activities. Despite Gigi having said during the show that she would never have anything to do with him outside the house, he confirmed they had slept together on the night of their eviction. “We ended up in her room doing what adults do,” he said, prompting visible and audible anger from Gigi who felt betrayed by the unexpected revelation.

The exchange went downhill from there. “This girl likes anything that has a dick. She’s fucked up as a person,” he said, adding that he blocked her on every social media platform “because she was fucking around.” Gigi’s summary: “He [Victory] has a Master’s degree in delusion.”

Jason Jae: Three Women, One Night of Reckoning

Jason’s session covered Dede, Joanna, and Sultana in sequence. On Dede, he initially maintained she had only been a friend. Ebuka’s pushback produced a different answer: he admitted he had liked her. Dede confirmed she had sensed he wanted more than friendship from the start.

With Joanna, Jason framed their dynamic as a simple friendship built around dancing during the parties. Joanna said he created the impression of a thing between them to make a third person jealous. Jason responded that “a lot of things happened in her head alone.”

The Sultana account took up the most time. Jason maintained he had been upfront about having a girlfriend from day one, acknowledged emotions were involved, and said nothing happened after the show. He is still with his girlfriend. Sultana did not dispute the timeline, giving the rationale for their intimate relationship: Jason was useful, available, and low-risk. “He was just the available machinery at that time,” she said, explaining that pursuing him over single men made sense precisely because there would be nothing to manage outside. The clean break they agreed to post-show was undone when Jason described her in interviews as a “relentless chaser.” But Sultana pushed back: “I didn’t force him. I didn’t chain him. I didn’t tie him down. He should have walked away at any point. He’s an adult.”

Kola and Dede: The Pursuit That Was Never Going Anywhere

Bright Morgan set the frame before the main conversation began. He said he had warned Kola early in the season to read the situation more carefully. His exact words: “Babe wey like you no go stress you.” Kola acknowledged the warning but explained his thinking: he described himself as a goal-getter who believed there was genuine reciprocity in their interactions and did not pick up the signals that Dede was not interested. Dede explained that Kola got the wrong impression from their conversations. She had been clear from Day 4 of the show that she was in a committed relationship outside the house and was not open to anything romantic inside it. 

What made their reunion exchange more pointed was Ebuka’s question about how two people who were cordial on the show ended up unable to say each other’s names in post-show interviews. Dede responded that Kola was performing for the cameras. She noted that he only used distancing language — referring to her as “the other person” or “this person” — when cameras were rolling, but had reached out to her after the show for what she described as a normal adult conversation. That made his interview behaviour difficult for her to understand. Kola did not put up a serious defence, saying he has no issues with her and wishes her all the best. “Same,” Dede replied.
