The artist has had a great year. His second album, Work of Art, released earlier this year in June has helped continue to solidify his superstar status. Work of Art obtained 115 million streams in the first half of the year. The album’s star track, “Lonely at the Top,” with its relatable themes of ambition struck a chord with a diverse audience, garnering a massive fan base, leading to the large streaming numbers.

In August, Asake sold out the O2 Arena, hosting a crowd of 20,000 fans. Also, he won “Album of the Year” for his debut LP, Mr. Money With The Vibe and was named “Artist of the Year” at the 2023 Headies Awards.

As Asake’s music continues to resonate with fans on a global scale, more accolades will definitely continue to pour in.
