Rema took the stage at London’s O2 arena for his “Ravage Uprising” concert on November 14th. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as fans gathered for an unforgettable night, and Rema did not disappoint.

The Rave Lord hit the stage with a burst of energy and the crowd eagerly soaked in every moment. The setlist was carefully curated to show his dynamic range. It featured hits that spanned his career from his early releases — “Dumebi”, “Why”, “Iron Man”, etc — to his more recent tracks that exemplify ‘Afrorave’ sound elements. The magic of the night peaked as he brought on stage his Mavin Records counterparts — Ayra Starr, Crayon, and Magixx — for a performance of “Won Da Mo”. He saved the best for last, concluding with a performance of his global hit “Calm Down.”

Rema’s trajectory over the past few years has been nothing short of meteoric. From his sold-out tour to his performance at the NBA All-Star game alongside Burna Boy and Tems to Jimmy Fallon last month, Rema has won the hearts of listeners around the globe. The 22-year-old has climbed every chart possible with his hit single “Calm Down”, peaking at No.4 in The OCC, No.6 in the Billboard Hot 100, and it has gone Gold once, Diamond six times and Platinum nine times across the globe.

Joining the league of celebrated Nigerian artists who have sold out the 20,000-capacity O2 arena before him, including Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake, Rema stands out as the youngest African artist to accomplish this feat at just 23.
