Lagos Fashion Week 2024 closed out spectacularly after energizing and creatively stimulating the city. Running from October 23 to 27, the event lived up to its billing with the theme “COMMUNE,” which demonstrated collaboration among designers, while spotlighting the best of African fashion and style. The Green Access program supported emerging talents focused on sustainability, featuring finalists like Samiat Salami, Bella Adeleke, and Rosette Ale. This year, 21 standout stars — designers, artists, models, and all-round creatives — strutted on the runway, rocking edgy statements that redefined contemporary African fashion.  Imagine futuristic silhouettes, wedding-ready outfits, street-style statements, relaxed loungewear, and timeless classics—all paying homage to African culture. Designers like Fruche, Desiree Iyama, Boyedoe, Emmy Kasbit, Wanni Fuga, and Orange Culture brought standout pieces. Every look impressed and hit just the right note at the 2024 Lagos Fashion Week.
