Many of our favourite Nigerian artists, Asake, Bloody Civilian, Mayorkun, Teni, BNXN, Pheelz, Crayon were at the Coke Studio Amplified show that took place on November 25th at the Jewel Aeida, Lekki, Lagos.

The Loud Choir broke things in and their performance was really outstanding. Teni’s stage presence was magnetic. Pheelz had this effect that just made you want to party with him. Mayorkun brought a full live band with dancers for a highly-energetic live performance that featured hits like “Holy Father” and “Certified Loner.”

In between the performances, the hosts kept the momentum going. MCs Tosan, MIA, Shody were the hype acts that kept the energy high. They sure knew how to work the crowd.

The DJ lineup was a key player in shaping the event’s vibe. DJs Big N, Titanium, and Maze & Extreme were present and honest-to-God, they completely killed it.

Mr Money with the Vibe, Asake, closed things off with his massive hits “Sungba,” “PBUY” and “Lonely at the Top,” one of the clear standouts from his latest full-length album, Work of Art.

Moreover, there were drinks, food and, of course, loads of Coca-Cola (as a heavy soda drinker, I really appreciated that).

Coke Studio has always worked as a platform that brings together artists to create timeless and unique art and Coke Studio Amplified was a successful celebration of that. The music, the performances, the crowd, the whole vibe – they all came together to create a night that was truly, undeniably, one for the books.
