Ayra Starr, Timaya, and Blaqbonez Cart Home Awards at AFRIMMA 2023
Davido won “Album of the Year” with his hit drop, Timeless. Ayra Starr snagged the “Best Female West Africa” award and Blaqbonez took the award for “Best Male Rap Act”

The 10th Edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) 2023, which promised to be the best and biggest award ceremony so far, was held at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas on the 17th of September 2023.
The nominees list saw big names like Burna Boy, Rema, Davido, Bien and more as well as young breakthrough talents like Lasmid, Herwan Gebrewold etc.
Def Jam’s newest Nigerian signee, Odumodublvck, won “Best Newcomer.” Davido won “Album of the Year” with his hit drop, Timeless. Ayra Starr carted home the “Best Female West Africa.” Nigerian act, Spyro, won “Best Collaboration” with the ‘Queen of Afrobeats’ Tiwa Savage and Diamond Platnumz bagged Best Male East Africa.
