The biggest African music award ceremony in diaspora, African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), is making its return this year, with scheduled dates from the 15th to the 17th of September.
The official activities of the event commence with the engaging AFRIMMA music panel, followed by the AFRIMMA Fashion Show. The AFRIMMA award ceremony will serve as the grand finale. This year’s celebration is extra special as it marks the incredible ten year anniversary of the award show.
AFRIMMA aims to push the boundaries of music, embracing diversity and fostering cross-cultural connections. According to the AFRIMMA Board President, Anderson Obiagwu, “It promises to be the biggest and best version of the award ceremony. AFRIMMA is 10 and African music in the past 10 years has reached new milestones and it is worth rolling out the drums in celebration for.”
Renowned fashion houses will showcase their designs at the AFRIMMA Fashion Show which will occur at the FiveAM Theatre on September 16th, adding an extra touch of glamour to this iconic event. The awards ceremony will, then, finalise the event on September 17th, 2023, at the prestigious Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas.
