It’s an exciting week for new music that’s vibe-heavy.
Leading the pack, Wizkid finally unveils his deeply personal album Morayo, a heartfelt tribute to his late mother and a project expands his Afrobeats legacy. Lifesize Teddy’s “Many Men” cuts through the noise, affirming her as a rising disruptor in the Afrobeats renaissance.
On the pop-rap frontier, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, and Davido link up for “If It’s Okay,” a dance-floor-ready track. Nasty C’s Confuse the Enemy with Lekaa Beats is a project loaded with potential, pushing him even further into rap’s global spotlight.
Summer Walker’s Quiet Storm EP offers moody, late-night R&B — an intimate space she’s perfected, while John Legend and Tems reimagine the classic, “Ordinary People.”
Closer to home, Lade and Olamide deliver “One By One,” while T.I Blaze’s “Beamer” brims with youthful ambition.
