Lagos will host the first-ever Red Bull Danfo Rally today, February 24, 2024. This exciting event will see the city’s famous yellow Danfo buses transformed into racing vehicles for an obstacle course. It’s a celebration of Lagos’s spirit, with skilled Danfo drivers teaming up with local youth for a thrilling race against time and obstacles.

The rally will take place at the Imperial City, Orange Island, Nigeria, featuring a race with Lagos’s iconic Danfo buses driven by daring drivers and celebrities. Ten teams will compete in three rounds, navigating obstacles for an adrenaline-filled experience unique to Lagos.

This event promises excitement and thrills for everyone involved. According to the organisers, “Whether you’re behind the wheel or cheering from the sidelines, it’s going to be an unforgettable journey through the heart of Lagos. O wa oh! Because this is one event where you’ll want to hold on tight – it’s going to be a wild ride!”
